Why Transformative Mediation?
Unlike traditional forms of mediation, I won’t be policing the space or your conversation. Instead, I’ll look for opportunities to reflect and summarize to facilitate and support all parties through their conflict.
With this form of mediation, reaching a “settlement” isn’t required, but it's often a welcome side effect. Others who have participated in Transformative Mediation often find it a more holistic approach that results in the relationship-building required for independent resolution of potential future conflicts.
Most people feel a high level of satisfaction with Transformative Mediation because it enables them to deal with the issues they feel are important. It allows them to present their views fully and gives them a sense of being heard. This mediation style helps all parties understand one another.
